In the evenings, you can enjoy some competitive fun in your games room, which features table football, Smart TV, board games and a mini kitchen for keeping you fed and watered. As well as the balcony, there’s a patio off the kitchen with a table, chairs and gas BBQ, an additional furnished patio on the side of the house, and a lower garden with a covered seating area. You’ll have a sweet local pub 1 mile away and more amenities in Llangollen, a gorgeous historic town on the River Dee. While away a morning wandering around the local shops and popping in for some coffee and Welsh cakes. If you’re into water sports, you can try out some white-water rafting or canoeing from the town. Keen to get those walking boots on? The trek up to Moel Morfydd (3.5 miles) is very rewarding. Or you can drive up to Horseshoe Pass Viewpoint (7 miles) for equally wonderful vistas – without the fatigue!
