Surrounded by 60 acres of undulating farmland and countryside views, this pretty cottage is set over one floor and has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible for wheelchair users. Welcoming four guests, this characterful cottage is well situated to explore the highs and lows of the Brecon Beacons, the charming market towns and the wide range of family-friendly attractions.

The open-plan living space is super sociable and welcoming, with slate flooring, exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. To one end is a practical kitchen with everything you need for creating culinary delights, and a four-seater table for enjoying meals together. The lounge space has plenty of seating for relaxing evenings reflecting on the day or watching your favourite movies. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, as well as a wet room with handrails and frames for those with accessibility needs. Enjoy a morning coffee, an evening tipple or dine alfresco on the patio at the front of the house.

The historic market town of Builth Wells is just 2 miles away, where you will find all the amenities you need and some wonderful places to eat. The fabulous Wye Valley Walk leads through here and reaches all the way to Gloucestershire. Alternatively, join the Epynt Way, a circular trail around the Sennybridge Training Area and admire the spectacular surroundings. Take a trip to the superb Brecon Beacons National Park (19 miles) and visit cascading waterfalls and underground caves or take to the water on the many rivers and reservoirs.

Excellent cottage with fantastic facilities for my disabled parents. Excellent location and lovely surroundings. Loved the large carving of Prince Llewellyn in the tree outside the window. I would highly recommend this cottage.
