This smart penthouse apartment is near the beach in Benllech and a short stroll away from the local cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants of this popular seaside resort. The sheltered sandy beach on the east coast of Anglesey attracts visitors throughout the year, young and old alike, who come to enjoy seaside activities and walking along this impressive stretch of coastline. The pretty little village of Moelfre is a 2.6 mile walk or drive away, Beaumaris with its stunning castle, 8 miles and Caernarfon and Snowdonia on the mainland 16 miles.
' the owners have provided a lovely picnic hamper, so pack with your own goodies and head to the beach! Bradleys Coffee shop does great sandwiches and homemade cakes or buy fresh crab and seafood from the popular Crab Shop' from Jacky our local property manager
The apartment: this new penthouse suite is one of an attractive collection of apartments in landscaped grounds with a gated entrance.
Access: is into the main building, through well maintained public areas, and up two flights of stairs, or the lift, to the apartment.
The living/dining room: this open plan room has large full-length windows opening to reveal lovely views of the beach and surrounding area. The apartment has underfloor heating, an attractive tiled floor, and is decorated with a pretty coastal theme. The sitting area has leather style sofas, to relax and enjoy the views, and a large flatscreen TV. The dining area has a table and chairs for four.No WiFi but good 4G signal.
The Kitchen: is part of the open plan living space. It is a good size and is well equipped with modern appliances, these include a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob with extractor, and integrated microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: the ensuite double room also has large full-length windows opening to reveal seaside views. Built in wardrobes and cabinets provide ample storage, whilst the smart new bed and mattress should enable a good night’s sleep!
Bedroom 2: the compact twin room has plenty of storage space and two good quality full sized beds.
Bathrooms: the double bedroom has a modern ensuite shower room with WC and basin. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and basin.
Exterior: the enclosed gated public area has designated parking for one car. The landscaped area has shared picnic benches and barbecues for socializing. There is also a stream running through the grounds with a little bridge over, and further seating.
Young children should be supervised at all times as there is a stream running through the grounds

Bay View Apartment is situated on Anglesey's east coast, in the popular coastal resort of Benllech. This smart apartment is a short stroll from the family friendly beach. It is also within walking distance of all the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Some of the recommended restaurants nearby include Caffi'r Bae in Benllech, Ty Derw in Moelfre (2.5 miles), The Ship and also The Old Boat House in Red Wharf Bay (1.8 miles by car or a lovely 40 minute walk from the cottage along a sandy beach). For a relaxing drink, The Ship is once again recommended, as is Kinmel Arms in Moelfre and Pilot Boat in Brynrefail (4.5 miles).
The apartment also offers an ideal base for visiting a range of fascinating local attractions. Beaumaris Castle is nearby whilst the Blue Flag beach of Benllech is on your doorstep. Enjoy Anglesey's 125 mile coastal path, go cycling and venture up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales (in nearby Snowdonia), by foot or by train.
Other attractions in Anglesey include the Copper Mountain with its surreal lunar landscape, Anglesey Oyster Festival in October and Bryn Celli Ddu’s well preserved stone-age burial chamber near Llanddaniel Fab. Take a tour around Llynnon Mill - the only working windmill in Wales and visit Oriel Tegfryn Art Gallery, the longest established Gallery in Wales.
For younger visitors Pili Palas’ butterfly centre offers a magical experience and also features birds, snakes and other exotic species. Anglesey Sea Zoo, Wales’ biggest aquarium offers an amazing world of marine life, shipwrecks and shark pool grids. The short bridge crossing to mainland North Wales offers even more family attractions including Glasfryn Park with karting, bowling, quad biking etc and Hwylfan Fun Centre, North Wales' largest indoor fun centre.

Anglesey Coastal Path – 125 circular walk around the Island. The nearest section can be joined at Benllech (¼ mile).

Amlwch. 4.8 circular walk around this lunar style copper mountain. 7.5 miles from cottage.
Storws Wen Golf Club – Benllech. 9 hole golf course. 1 miles.

Hebog Cycle Path – 22 mile circular route from Benllech. ¼ mile from cottage.
