The Dairy is converted from a former milking parlour and is one of a group of cottages, in the pretty countryside of Anglesey. This cottage is in a lovely position with views across open countryside and to the grounds and on site fishing lake of Parc Newydd. This is a great location from which to explore Anglesey with easy access to award winning beaches and the many other superb and popular attractions. The pretty village of Moelfre is 7.5 miles away, the market town of Llangefni 7 miles and Rhosneigr 10.5 miles.

The cottage: this single storey stone cottage has been converted from one of the original milking parlours and offers a cosy retreat for two people. Central heating.

Entrance porch: the tiled entrance porch has hooks for coats and is a great place to store your outdoor clothing and shoes.

Living room: this open plan room has a wood burning stove (initial logs provided), the original beamed ceiling, easy chairs for two, and Freeveiw TV/DVD and WiFi. There is a breakfast bar with two stools between the sitting room and kitchen.

Kitchen: the compact fitted kitchen has a fridge freezer, halogen hob electric cooker and microwave. 

Bedrooms: the ground floor double bedroom is carpeted and has wooden bedroom furniture and pretty co coordinating furnishings. Patio doors lead to the enclosed courtyard garden.

Shower room: has a heated towel rail, WC, basin and modern shower unit with a large shower head.

Outside: in the sheltered south facing courtyard is a table, chairs and barbecue. To the front is more seating where you can sit and admire the views. The extensive grounds have wild areas and paths to explore, there is an impressive coarse fishing lake with a decking area to sit and admire the wildlife. Secure bike storage available. The owners of this collection of properties are on hand to ensure your stay is of the highest standard at all times. Many guests tend to spend time just enjoying the relaxing environment however for the more adventurous there is plenty to see and do as the location is very central. See Local Area for more information.

We had a wonderful time staying th The Dairy. Comfortable and well equipped. Andrew was very helpful and his dog Molly was adorable. Fishing was great, the carp are mighty feisty, and we are already planning a return visit.

Local Area

This collection of cottages near Llanerchymedd offers an superb environment for everyone; couples on romantic jaunts, nature-lovers who will appreciate the beauty of the on site lake, and families who can make use of the extensive grounds and playing space. The off-peak months attract many young couples with pre-school children who return to year after year.
Central Anglesey is a land of rolling green fields, ancient churches, burial sites and sacred wells, of course you are never far away from the magnificent coastline with its stunning beaches and coastal paths. Moelfre, around 7 miles away, is a very pretty village with a rich maritime history and superb coastal walking, not forgetting a great café and pretty shops. Lligwy beach is a lovely sandy beach with a seasonal beach cafe. Nearby Benllech is more of a traditional seaside resort with a large sandy beach and its fair share of ice cream and fish and chip shops. The market town of Llangefni has a good range of shops and supermarkets and is home to Oriel Ynys Mon heritage centre and art gallery which includes a permanent exhibition by the late welsh artist Kyffin Williams, along with a lovely walk up the 'Dingle', on board walks which lead up to a reservoir. 
The Anglesey Sea Zoo, the National Trust’s Plas Newydd house and gardens, Beaumaris castle and Gaol and Melyn Llynnon, where you can see a working windmill area all great places to visit.
For outdoor enthusiasts there are a network of cycle routes on Anglesey, kayak and canoe hire, horse riding, coasteering and climbing. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive away.
