From this stylish and cosy holiday cottage Anglesey is your oyster. Its peaceful, central location makes it the perfect base to explore this magical island and beyond. Meillion provides a wonderful retreat for a relaxing romantic break where you have complete freedom to do as much or as little as you like.

A beautiful, open plan living area with a lounge, kitchen and dining area.
The cosy lounge area includes a sofa, coffee table, Smart TV and electric fire.
The stylish, well equipped kitchen includes a full sized cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Lovely dining table for two.

Inviting bedroom with a double bed, velux window and built in wardrobe.
Garden
Large lawned garden with table and 2 chairs to the side of the cottage. Shared with guests staying at the static caravan (sleeps up to 4) also located on site. BBQ set available on request.

Location
This beautiful, semi-detached cottage for two is located on a small holding on the outskirts of Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey. The cottage owners also live on site and are on hand should you need anything. An excellent, central base to explore Anglesey.
Llangefni market town is located 1 mile away from the cottage. Llangefni is the second largest town on the island of Anglesey where you will find amenities to meet all your needs including a selection of supermarkets, pharmacies and various shops. Every Thursday and Saturday, Llangefni is home to the busiest market on the island, including craft food and drink stalls. The nearest convenience store is just 0.7 miles and also includes a deli. For eating out, there are cafes, restaurants, and takeaways in Llangefni, whilst Tafarn y Rhos (3 miles), The Boathouse and Tavern on the Bay, both in Red Wharf Bay (6.5 miles) and the well known Lobster Pot in Church Bay (18 miles) are highly recommended.
Meillion holiday cottage offers a great base to visit the island’s attractions including the ancient 'World Heritage' castle and numerous good restaurants in Beaumaris (10 miles), a range of blue flag beaches, Parys Mountain (11 miles) with its surreal lunar landscape and Bryn Celli Ddu’s well preserved stone-age burial chamber near Llanddaniel Fab (7 miles). Take a tour around Llynnon Mill (11.5 miles) - the only working Wind Mill in Wales and for the artists amongst you, Oriel Mon (less than a mile away) along with its ‘Blas Mwy’ Café is a must.
Visit Pili Palas Nature World (6.5 miles), a hands-on zoo with a number of exotic species, as well as Anglesey Sea Zoo (Wales’ biggest aquarium) - an amazing world of marine life shipwrecks and shark pool grids (11 miles). Other popular attractions include Cartio Môn go-carting (11 miles), Llanddwyn Island (12 miles), steeped in history and legend and closely associated with the Patron Saint for lovers in Wales (Saint Dwynwen) and also South Stack Lighthouse (20 miles). Not to forget Menai Bridge (8 miles) with its excellent range of restaurants.

Benllech Beach – Long sandy beach – Blue Flag award and a huge family favourite. 6 miles.
Red Wharf Bay - Lovely sandy and cobbled beach spectacular view across the sea and amenities that includes a cafe / restaurant and pub. 6.5 miles
Cycling
Lon Las Cefni – 13 mile path from Llyn Cefni to Newbrough Forest. Mostly flat – a great family cycling route. Nearest point = Llangefni 1.4 miles.
Walking
Llangefni Dingle Nature Reserve Walk. A circular 1.5 mile boardwalk through the Dingle Woodland all the way to Cefni Reservoir. Best enjoyed at a reflective and exploring pace. Accessible and suitable for wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs if you stick to the boardwalk. 1.4 mile from the cottage.
Pentraeth Forest Circular Walk – Pentraeth. Gentle 9 mile scenic walk. 4.5 miles.
Anglesey Coastal Path – 125 circular walk around the Island. Nearest point = Benllech (6 miles).
Golf
Storws Wen Golf Club – Benllech. 9 hole golf course. 4.5 miles.
Horse riding
Anglesey Riding Centre – Dwyran. Beach and grass-track riding and instruction to suit all standards. 11 miles.
Fishing
Llyn Cefni lake fishing - Fly fishing for wild brown trout and stocked rainbow trout on Llyn Cefni Anglesey. Bank fishing with rowing boats available for hire. Day evening and weekly tickets at Peter Rowe Jewellers in Llangefni. 1 mile
