In South Wales, this 2 storey stone barn has been converted into a 1-bedroomed charming cottage for up to 2 adults and a child. The 4* cottage near Cowbridge is located in countryside just 3 miles from the town and only 10 miles from Cardiff.
For 5* comfort consider the detached bungalow near Saundersfoot. The property for 4, located in the owner’s grounds, has extensive off-road walking from the door and is only 6 miles from the Pembrokeshire coast.
In Mid Wales, the 5* cottage near Trefeglwys, again for 4, is one of a pair of converted farm buildings 1 mile above the village. There are lovely views of the Trannon Valley from the upstairs living room and an open lawned garden with a stream running through.
The 4* cottage near Bryncrug provides charming character accommodation for up to 4 in extensive gardens with super views over the village and hills to the sea. The popular towns of Tywyn and Aberdyfi are just a 5 and 10 minute drive away.
On the eastern edge of the Snowdonia National Park is the cottage near Betws-y-Coed for 5. The larger part of a late C17th property, separate from the owner’s but with access to 3 acres of natural gardens with views over the Conwy Valley.
