After days out exploring the wonderful, coastline, countryside and villages of Wales, curl up and relax in front of a real, crackling wood fire! Wales Holidays still has an excellent selection of farmhouses and cottages available over the next few weeks. Here are a few examples of properties we have to offer with an open fire or a woodburner.

The newly renovated C18th stone 4* cottage near Bala sleeps 3 in one bedroom and is in an excellent area for walking and birdwatching. If you need a bit more space the 4* bungalow near Llanrwst on a working farm sleeps 5 and enjoys extensive views over the beautiful valley and rolling hills of the Hiraethog moors.

Just ¼ mile from the beach the detached 4* stone cottage at Cei Bach, New Quay is set in its own large enclosed garden. Sleeping 6 the cottage is 2 miles from the popular harbour town. Again for 6, the 4* cottage near Fishguard is a very attractive conversion of a stone barn with lovely views across countryside to the sea. The cottage is less than a mile from the Pembrokeshire Coast path.

In West Wales is a group of properties on the owner’s farm that all together can sleep up to 21. A pair of properties converted from a farm building each 4* cottage near Llandovery sleeps 4. They share an enclosed garden. Also on the farm is a stunning barn conversion sleeping 13. This 4* cottage near Llandovery, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park offers a huge open-plan living area, modern facilities and fine views!
