In Pembrokeshire, the Fishguard Autumn Festival is a 3 day festival of food, drink and music from 30 October to 2 November. Or head to Tenby on 1 November for a Bonfire & Fireworks Display with musical entertainment, barbecue, side stalls and fairground rides. Enjoy an Awesome Autumn at Dinefwr Castle & Park near Carmarthen and Llandovery on 25 & 26 October, or join a spooky evening of History and Hauntings there from 28 October to 1 November.
If you’re staying around Cardigan and North Pembrokeshire, help to look after your garden birds at Wildlife Themed Arts n Crafts at the Welsh Wildlife Centre on 30 October. For Halloween, there’s a Black Cat Treasure Hunt and a Spooky Creepy Crawlies Arts & Crafts Session on the 31st. A Model Railway and Vintage Craft Fair takes place at the Museum on 2 November.
In the New Quay and Lampeter area, Fantasy Farm is having some Halloween Fun on 31 October. While events at Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron include a Waxcap Walk discovering colourful and rare fungi on 22 October, and Feed the Birds Day on the 26th.
Get away from the many ghouls and ghosts around Cardiff and Swansea at the Cowbridge Food & Drink Festival over the weekend of 26 and 27 October. The Dylan Thomas Festival runs from 27 October to 9 November at Swansea’s Dylan Thomas Centre, which also hosts Dr Who Day on 2 November.
