North Wales Events this October for Llangollen, Llanberis and Lake Vyrnwy Wales Holidays visitors

Stay in a self-catering cottage in Anglesey and North Wales over the coming weeks and enjoy a great range of events and activities.
Here’s a taster: Wales Holidays visitors will find Farmers Markets throughout North Wales and if you’re staying around Bala and Lake Vyrnwy, there a Local Produce Market at Bala on 12 October, with all sorts of cakes and preserves, cheese and free range pork, honey and eggs, as well as handmade cards and pictures. Children can Toddle into Autumn at Alyn Waters Country Park near Llangollen and north-east Wales on 10 October. The Llangollen Food & Drink Festival offers a weekend of great food, drink and entertainment at The Royal International Pavilion on 19 and 20 October.
Snowdonia and Lleyn cottage visitors may like to visit Ffestiniog Railway’s Vintage Weekend on 11 to 13 October. Take a look at the world of 1863 when steam was new and slate was king, and tourists were starting to visit magnificent Snowdonia. Celebrate autumn, or more specifically the apple, at Bodelwyddan Castle’s Apple Weekend on 19 and 20 October.
On Anglesey, a full programme of events is planned for the annual Anglesey Oyster & Shellfish Welsh Produce Festival at Trearddur Bay on 12 and 13 October. While antique lovers and browsers should head to Beaumaris Leisure Centre on 20 October for the Beaumaris Antique and Collectors Fair.
World renowned Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Biking centre in southern Snowdonia hosts the Howies Coed-y-Brenin Enduro on 5 October. And music lovers should head to Theatr Harlech on 11 October for a performance of Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring from Mid Wales Opera – a comic opera sure to bring a smile to your face!
