Stay in Wales Holidays cottages around Dolgellau and the North Cambrian Coast and in North East Wales for superb walking, water sports and plenty of other outdoor activities.
Here, away from Snowdonia’s major peaks, these are two lesser-known long distance walks that Wales Holidays visitors might like to try. The stunning Mawddach Way runs either side of the Mawddach estuary at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park, and the Brenig Way is a 32 mile route from the beautiful Dee Valley near Corwen to Llyn Brenig. Enjoy following the trail for a glorious hour or two or challenge yourself to complete one of the walks in a few days. Click on Wales Areas for self-catering accommodation ideas in all areas of Wales.
