A number of the superb beaches around the coastline of Wales do have restrictions with regards to dogs. However, dogs are allowed on many of these beaches from 1st October onwards. At the many pet friendly cottages, bungalows and farmhouses available to let from Wales Holidays, there is no charge for one pet, so your dog will be able to come at no extra cost and also enjoy a walk and a paddle on a beach this autumn!
There is an easy search facility on the opening page of our web site - just tick the “Pet Friendly” box. ‘Pet Welcome’ on the property heading indicates that the cottage will take one dog. ‘Pet by arrangement’ in the heading means you need to check with us if your dog will be acceptable to the owner – just phone or email us; a small dog will almost always be allowed but there may be restrictions on some larger breeds. Some properties will accept two dogs - especially two smaller ones; again just give us a ring on 01686 628200 (we are usually available from 9am to 9pm every day) or click on “Contact Us” to send an email if you have a particular cottage in mind - we will sort it all out for you.
