The Anglesey Sandman on 22 September and the Snowman up Capel Curig on 6 October complete this gruelling series. Formidable Bala Triathlon takes place on 9 June. Further Snowdonia events include the International Snowdon Race on 20 July. Near Trawsfynydd in southern Snowdonia, the Coed y Brenin Enduro takes place on 5 October at this world renowned mountain biking centre. Starting in Cardiff Bay, the popular Cardiff Half Marathon on 6 October is largely flat and goes to the heart of the city, taking in the impressive Civic Centre, Cardiff Castle and across the barrage. And probably the most scenic marathon in the UK, the Snowdonia Marathon Eryri takes place on 26 October and is now seen as one of the premier marathons in the UK.
