Thomas the Tank Engine and February Half Term Steam on Heritage Railways in Wales

In North Wales, the Ffestiniog Railway will have two daily trains on most days between Saturday 15th and the end of February. Because of construction work at Porthmadog, these trains will depart and terminate at Minffordd. Llangollen will have three daily steam trains on the first three Sundays of the month. For the Half Term weekend on Saturday and Sunday 22 & 23 February, Thomas the Tank Engine will be at Llangollen Railway Station for a “Day Out With Thomas” - take a ride with Thomas and enjoy all the other events!
On the North Cambrian Coast, the Talyllyn Railway will be open from Saturday 15th to Saturday 22nd February with two departures from Tywyn Wharf station each day. The Fairbourne Railway will also be open during Half Term from 18th to 26th February. Further down the coast at Aberystwyth, steam trains for Devil’s Bridge on the Vale of Rheidol Railway will run from Tuesday 18th to Thursday 27th February except on Friday 21st and Monday 24th. In the Brecon Beacons, the Mountain Railway will be open every day from Tuesday 18 February until Sunday 2 March will three train each day departing from Pant Station.
