It’s not always easy finding exactly the right cottage to meet your needs – and those of everyone else in your party! We have an excellent selection of cottages from Anglesey and Snowdonia to Pembrokeshire and West Wales, but sometimes you may not be quite sure that you’ll be able to move around easily in an uncluttered environment or that your great-aunt will manage the stairs.
Space can be limited in the property description and we might not have listed specific details that may be important to your particular requirements. So ‘access statements’ have been written by the property owners to help you choose the right place to meet your needs.
As ever, we will be pleased to give you as much information as possible over the phone or can email or post these statements to you on request. Some examples of cottages suitable for less able guests include Dan-y-Coed near Builth Wells, with double and twin bedrooms and a spacious wet room fully equipped for disabled users.
And Foty near Dolgellau has three bedrooms, one of which is downstairs with an ensuite wet room. Castle View near Llandrindod Wells sleeps up to 14, perfect for large family gatherings or groups of friends, and offers superb facilities for wheelchair users. No longer available :(
While, if you’re just two, the spacious and very comfortable Old Dairy Loft near Pembroke is Grade II listed and just 4 or 5 miles from beautiful beaches on the Pembrokeshire coast.
