Get crafting at the National Wool Museum this January. For those interested in crochet there are beginners’ workshops on 11 and 25 January. There is also an Introduction to Spinning workshop on 18 January. On the 25 January there are craft activities for children to celebrate St Dwynwen’s Day – the Welsh saint of love.

Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan plays host to funny man Mike Doyle on 23 January. This award-winning comic delivers packed with comedy and song. A few days later, on 25 January, there is a change of pace with a classical piano recital featuring Commonwealth Musician of the Year 2012 Jayson Gilham. On 30 January you can attend the screening of National Theatre Live Coriolanus starring Tom Hiddlestone and Mark Gatiss.

At the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven on Friday 24 January, ‘King of the Castle’ combines comedy and history to great effect. This new show by Dave Ainsworth is an irreverent take on Henry Tudor and his connection to Pembrokeshire. On Saturday 25 January join the big band and celebrate the influential music of Bing Crosby in ‘Swinging on a Star’.
