From mountain biking to water sports, North Wales offers a whole range of opportunities for those wanting a more active weekend break. Rolling hills, meandering coastlines, huge forests and commanding mountains are just some of the settings to be discovered in North Wales. Get out and about and enjoy gentle, exhilarating or even demanding activities to a backdrop of stunning landscapes and breathtaking views.

Many Wales Holidays cottages offer weekend breaks over the coming weeks so why not take a browse through our great selection. One great example is The Stables; a deceptively spacious semi-detached cottage with direct access to 150 acres of hill farm. A great base for outdoor enthusiasts as the cottage benefits from a large storage room to the rear with space for bikes and boots, etc. There is walking from the door and the Snowdonia National Park or the Clwydian Hills are not too far away. Just over 10 miles to the north is Llyn Brenig for good fishing, a choice of walking and cycle trails (bike hire available) and an adventure playground. To the south is Lake Bala where there is plenty of exciting activities to choose from, including gorge walking and windsurfing. This cosy property sleeps six with two bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms on the first floor. Downstairs accommodation includes a triple bedroom and a modern living space of fitted kitchen, dining room and a sitting area featuring a woodburner for which logs are provided.

Wales Cottage Holidays has a wide range of properties throughout our beautiful country and if you require any assistance in choosing a property just right for you, please do contact us or give us a call on 01686 628200.
