With easy access to sandy beaches, vibrant cities and majestic mountains, a cottage in South Wales makes a great base for a break away this January. This is a great time of year to explore the varied aspects of South Wales where you can find deserted beaches and quiet foot paths along with a friendly welcome in the villages and towns.
Many of our properties take shorter breaks with plenty of different styles of properties and areas included within our extensive range. A great example is Gellifelgaws Farm cottage which offers exceptionally spacious 5* accommodation for 4, central to South Wales. The location of this property near Neath gives the best of all worlds. There are choices of fantastic beaches within 12 miles and a 30 minute drive the other way brings you to the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park.
The cottage itself has an enclosed garden and has rural views while the major city of Swansea is only 7 miles away. Gellifelgaws is very well-equipped and has character features such as an abundance of beams and an inglenook fireplace in the living room with a woodburner. After a day out in the fresh Welsh air, whether up in the hills, along the coast or just with the kids taking advantage of the shared play area in the cottage grounds, the property is a lovely cosy base to return to and relax.
