Wales Cottage Holidays visitors to Cardigan and the New Quay and Llangrannog areas can leave their cars behind – well, hopefully for some of their holiday at least!
The bus service Cardi Bach is used by surfers, walkers and locals alike on the Ceredigion coast of West Wales, linking beaches, towns and villages between New Quay and Cardigan. The new service started in July 2012 and has proved so popular that the timetable has been extended from originally just the summer months to all year round. It runs every day except Wednesday from April to the end of October and on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays during the winter months.
This is great for walkers, as you can take a one-way journey on the bus and return along the Coast Path, enjoying stunning scenery, wildlife and seaside villages as you go. As well as at bus stops, you can pick up Cardi Bach at pick-up points along the route and on a Hail and Ride basis, as long as it’s safe to do so. The bus also offers easy access with its low floor. Choose from holiday cottages in West Wales and make the most of this great opportunity next time you stay here.
