North Wales Steam Trains at Easter

Easter Eggs galore will feature at two of the steam railways in North Wales this Easter!
From Good Friday to the Tuesday 22nd April on the Llanberis Lake Railway there will be prizes for the children that find the Easter Eggs hidden around the stations - and look out for the White Rabbit!
The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway at Porthmadog will be holding their Easter Egg hunt on Easter Saturday and Sunday; steam hauled trains will run on the 21st, 26th and 27th April, diesel other days.
The Ffestiniog Railway will be open throughout April with no less than six trains on their Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog line on the Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
On the Welsh Highland Railway, three daily steam hauled trains will run from Caernarvon to Porthmadog from 15th to 24th April during the Easter holidays. The Snowdon Mountain Railway will be open but trains may terminate at Clogwyn rather than the summit subject to weather conditions. The Bala Lake Railway will be open throughout the Easter Holidays and there will be four daily trains from Llanuwchllyn station. On Good Friday and Easter Saturday there will be three steam trains and three heritage railcar trips on the Llangollen Railway; two engines will be in steam running six trains each day on Easter Sunday and Monday.
