...and no extra charge for your dog! Easter is just around the corner, so time to start thinking of your break away to a lovely cottage in Snowdonia and North Wales or on the glorious coast of Pembrokeshire and West Wales. And if you’ve got a dog, just remember that there is no extra charge for bringing him or her to Wales Holidays pet friendly cottages.
There’s a great choice, from cosy cottages where you, your partner and dog can curl up in front of an open fire, to spacious farmhouses for the whole family! ‘Pet Friendly’ on the property heading indicates that the cottage will take a dog. Please check with us if you have more than one or if you’ve a particularly big dog, as there may be restrictions on some larger breeds.
There is an easy search facility on the opening page of our website to search for Pet Friendly cottages and here are a few suggestions: If you are just two, Llechfraith Uchaf is in a superb south-facing position overlooking the Mawddach estuary above Bontddu, near Barmouth, with excellent walking from the door. The unrivalled location of Tynllidiart in the Elan Valley is ideal for those who want to get away from it all! It boast loads of character, including a woodburner, and sleeps 4. For larger groups, Abercorran Farmhouse sleeps 8 and is situated on a smallholding with an interesting collection of other animals, near historic Laugharne and 5 miles from the magnificent sands at Pendine.
