This group of three cottages has been converted from a 16th century barn, adjacent to the owners' farmhouse B&B, at the end of the village of Cilmery (with pub just 0.25 mile away), 2 miles west of Builth Wells. There are interconnecting doors between the properties, which together will accommodate up to 17 people.
On the owners' land are nature walks, ponds, bird hides, nature information panels and picnic benches. Red Kites nest in the surrounding trees, you can go otter spotting along the river or arrange a "Welsh Overland Safari" - guided tours of the surrounding hills, rivers, waterfalls etc organised by the owners. This is also a good, central location for exploring Mid Wales and the Elan Valley.
The cottages retain attractive beams and other architectural features. The two larger properties each have a hot tub on the decking to the rear and the smaller cottage is wheelchair accessible. At the end of the building is a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Stabling available by arrangement; secure bike storage is available and there is a hosepipe for washing muddy bikes and dogs!
