Ivy House Barns
This collection of four converted barns have all been renovated to a high standard and have achieved a Visit Wales 5* grading. They are on an organic working farm near the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, about 5 miles from Barmouth and Harlech. The cottages benefit from a large shared games room with table tennis, a pool table, table football and books, games and films, ideal if the weather is not so great! There is also a shared children’s play area a with picnic benches and a barbeque.
The cottages are ideal for groups or families wanting some private space but with some shared facilities.
This is set within the Snowdonia National Park. The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is a short walk away with a pub, café and convenience store, and there is a stop on the scenic mainline Cambrian Railway a stroll away, so ideal for exploring the surrounding area without having to drive, also great for linear walks and cycling.
The vast beach of Morfa Dyffryn is a walk away, with a section set aside as a naturist beach, the only one in Wales. Barmouth is a popular traditional seaside resort and has superb walks and cycling down the Mawdach estuary. Harlech is famous for the stunning castle. Further afield many of the most popular attractions of Snowdonia are within a short drive.
