Y Beudy, Yr Efail and Ysgubor
This collection of properties between Caernarfon and Bangor sleeps 12 people in three properties. Y Beudy, Yr Efail and Ysgubor are ideal for a larger group needing some privacy.
These stone cottages have all been lovingly converted from outbuildings on the owners working farm and are in a rural position between the mountains of Snowdonia and the isle of Anglesey. The owners are on hand, offering a warm welcome and a wealth of local information.
Yr Efail is pet friendly and has WiFi and a woodburning stove, Y Beudy and Ysgubor are pet free and have WiFi. All the cottages are single storey with twin and double bedrooms, two are set around the same courtyard, the other, slightly to one side, all with private parking and hard surface courtyard areas with seating.
This is a great location with easy access to some of the best North Wales has to offer. The area is excellent for all sorts of outdoor activities, walking, cycling and watersports are all just a short drive away. The main footpath up Snowdon, the mountain and lake railway, Electric Mountain visitor centre and indoor play area, the National Slate Museum and Padarn lake for watersports can all be found in Llanberis. The city of Bangor has a range of facilities including a modern theatre and cinema. The National Trust's Penrhyn Castle and Plas Newydd are nearby, along with the fabulous sandy beaches of Anglesey. Greenwood Forest park, a fantastic family experience is just under 2 miles away, and Plas Menai National Watersports centre, including tuition and hire, is just down the road. For thrill seekers ZipWorld Velocity zip wire is a few miles up the road in Bethesda.
