Enjoy a stay at this high-end, historic property which has a wealth of charming features, from the arched windows to the cedar summerhouse in the garden. Ideally suited to couples or families, you’ll be able to explore the beautiful landscapes of Herefordshire (9 miles), Malvern Hills (17 miles), and the Brecon Beacons (30 miles) with ease.

Brightly lit by the pretty arched window, the living and dining areas are a great place to kick back and relax, decorated in calming hues. Two comfortable sofas offer a place to rest your feet in front of the TV whilst the wood burner is a welcome addition in the colder months of the year. The four-seater dining table overlooks the courtyard area creating a wonderful view for a meal at all times of the day. Next door, the kitchen is contemporary and finished to a high standard, paired with a second dining table seating four. Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two generously sized rooms, one with a king-size bed and the other a super-king-size which can be made up as a twin upon request. Simply decorated with thoughtful touches and cool colours, you’ll be able to sink into a deep slumber each night. A family bathroom completes the property with a shower over the bath. The private garden has a lovely patio area with seating and a BBQ for the summertime, whilst the summerhouse ensures you can make the most of the views whatever the weather.

For a taste of history, why not pay a visit to Hampton Court Castle? This 15th-century fortified manor house has well-cared-for walled gardens, a fascinating maze and a fantastic restaurant for foodies. Pay a visit to Queenswood Arboretum (8 miles) which changes throughout the seasons to marvel at the ancient trees and diversity of plant life. This is a perfect spot for a gentle stroll, or to stop off for a picnic in a truly picturesque area.

A wonderful country cottage, in a very tranquil location. It's a very convenient spot to visit Herefordshire and Wales. It has a well equipped kitchen and is very comfortably furnished - I slept very well! The garden shed is lovely to dine in, or sit & admire the garden whilst have a glass of wine. And the gardens are an inspiration!
