Make yourself at home in this traditional stone-built cottage in the pretty market town of Ludlow. Sleeping up to six people across two bedrooms and a snug, it’s a great option for families or groups or friends who are searching for an idyllic retreat to call home while they explore the spectacular Shropshire countryside together. Spend a beautiful morning wandering through the charming market town of Tenbury Wells, and in the afternoon, pay a visit to its historic Pump Rooms. In the evening, come home and enjoy a chilled-out al fresco dinner in the cottage’s pretty courtyard.
Step inside and you'll immediately notice the inviting, traditional decor of this quaint lodge. Take a moment to relax in the spacious living room before heading to the sleek open-plan kitchen/dining area, which is bathed in natural light, to cook up some dinner for your loved ones. Get everyone together to eat at the farmhouse-style dining table, or head out into the beautiful courtyard and dine alfresco. After dinner, make your way back indoors to relax with a glass of wine by the wood burner. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find two characterful bedrooms with lovely exposed beams – one tranquil king-size and one charming twin room (which can be converted into a super-king-size on request). Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; one with a bath and a rainfall shower, and one with a rainfall shower. There’s also a handy snug adjacent to the living room, which can be converted into an additional bedroom for two extra guests if required.
You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you visit the medieval town of Ludlow (1.5 miles). History buffs will be spoilt for choice in the numerous antique stores that line the streets.
