Experience an oasis of calm in this lodge-style holiday home, a place engulfed by natural surroundings with plenty of peaceful spots to sit and admire the elements around you. A five-guest group is invited to make use of the many outdoor appeals on-site including woodlands to explore and a natural swimming pool for a dip, also enjoying easy access to endless hiking routes and mountain biking opportunities in the Wye Valley (8 miles) and amongst the Malvern Hills (4.5 miles). Further afield, discover the England-Wales border with the Brecon Beacons gateway town of Hay-on-Wye less than 32 miles.

Plenty of wood panelling and traditional oak furnishings maintain the au naturel styling of this countryside cottage. Take steps up into the pretty lounge where ample seating options are positioned opposite a TV/DVD and a wood burner for your cosy nights in. Next door, a kitchen/diner is on hand for whipping up tasty meals and a single bedroom with an adjacent shower room is just down the hallway. Two further bedrooms, a king-size with a fabulous balcony and a double bedroom, are both accessed on the first floor, each offering an en-suite bathroom. Spend time outdoors on your private decking with outdoor seating and a BBQ, or get to know the swimming pool, sauna and gym that’s shared with other properties on-site.

In striking Herefordshire, the property is within easy reach of the poetry town of Ledbury (4 miles) with its historic town streets, an annual literary festival and ample nearby orchards where local cider is produced. Footpaths lead out of the town and into the midst of the Malvern Hills, with Eastnor Castle and its adjacent deer park (5.5 miles) a must-visit on the outskirts of town. Moving in the opposite direction, spend time in the Wye Valley discovering endless pretty scenery along the River Wye (8 miles).

Gorgeous, specious but still cosy lodge. Lovely hot tub and log burner. Comfy sofas and everything you could think of in the kitchen. Great place to stay.

A well organised cottage in relaxing surroundings. The pool is tranquil all be it unheated but was enjoyable on warmer days. We soon warmed back up in the hottub. The gym is very well equipped too. Owner is welcoming and my children loved the animals.

!SELECTED!The Damselfly Retreat!ENDOFSELECTED! is fantastic. It's in beautiful surroundings and very private, with plenty of parking. The lodge itself is stunning. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage space and bathroom facilities for each room. The living room is very cosy, and it was so warm, without even using the log fire. The kitchen waRead mores well equipped and spacious, with a big dining table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas, making memories with our family. Would highly recommend, and would love to go back Hide

A beautiful lodge - comfortable, spacious and with everything you need. We especially liked the hot tub and log burner. Clive and Shelly were great hosts. We hope to return as there is still a lot to see in the area.
