Enjoyed a 3 night weekend with my dog pals in an admittedly remote but satisfyingly peaceful House beyond the Mill. Almost everything I might need was available, surprisingly spacious cottage for its size - no concerns with space, even with 5 dogs! Garden mornings relaxing with the pups and Sheep company in the adjoining field were highlights as well as a toasty fire in the log burner on a chilly evening after a day of adventures nearby. Only had a single car pass by over the 4 days. LOVELY!

Cottage not sold as advertised. Poor hygiene standards, outside appearance neglected/ rundown outbuildings. Garden overgrown and unkempt. No TV stations-reported to owner as were bathroom light and tap not working. Not rectified during our stay. Location itself stunning. Value for money- overpriced, disappointing and needs current photos to reflectRead more standards. Does not look or feel like holiday accommodation the owner cares about. Hide

A lovely quaint old cottage, yet comfortable and warm. Located amidst hilly sheep farming country. If it's tranquillity and peace you are looking for, this is the place for you.

The cottage does not look the same as the images currently shown. It could have been a lot cleaner both in the garden and inside the cottage

We had a wonderful week in this glorious old cottage. So quiet and peaceful and really allowed us to stop, think and reevaluate our lives. Looking forward to going back.
