Escape with your loved ones to this traditional barn-conversion sitting just 4.5 miles outside the beautiful town of Ludlow. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation choice for small families or groups of friends in search of a tranquil retreat to call home while they explore the South Shropshire countryside together. During the day, head into Ludlow to stroll through the Food Centre - the local cheeses and homemade sweets on offer are exceptional. Bring some treats home to the cottage to cook in the evening. Fire up the charcoal BBQ and enjoy a fabulous al fresco feast with your loved ones.
Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a sleek kitchen connected to the welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. Warm your toes in front of the electric fire in the lounge area before heading back to the kitchen to rustle up some dinner. Gather everyone together to eat at the stylish dining table, or head out to the terrace to enjoy an al fresco dinner. After dinner, stretch out in front of the TV in the living area or crack open a bottle of wine in the garden and wait for the stars to come out. At the end of the day, there are two lovely bedrooms waiting for you - a double bedroom with garden access on the ground floor, and a double bedroom on the first floor that can be converted into a twin on request.
Lace up your hiking boots and head along the Ludlow Town Trail (4.5 miles). Follow the well-marked path through picturesque streets and you’ll uncover hidden gems like Ludlow Castle and St Laurence’s Church along the way. Alternatively, take a pretty stroll beside the River Teme (13 miles). While you’re there, check out Ludlow Bridge, which was built in the 14th century.
