Share your experience of splendid Shropshire and the beautiful Welsh borderlands with your friends and family at this group farm retreat. Sleeping nine guests, and welcoming canine companions, the five-bedroom stone barn is situated in glorious, undulating countryside at Tugford, 10.5 miles from Ludlow and 20.5 miles from Wales. With a generous courtyard garden for summer afternoons and a wood burner for winter evenings, this is a delightful hideaway to share with your nearest and dearest.

Wander in to discover spacious accommodation, with rustic features such as exposed beams and stonework. Enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to settle on the plump sofas. Play games, watch the Smart TV, or choose a book from the shelves. Head over to the kitchen to make cups of tea or prepare great feasts for everyone to sit down to at the large dining table. Linger here over a bottle of wine afterwards, with the doors to the garden open on warm evenings or the wood burner crackling gently when it is cold. A king-size bedroom, with Jack and Jill access to the family bathroom, is also down here. Climb the eye-catching spiral staircase up from the living space to the rest of the bedrooms. These include two doubles, a twin and a single. One of these doubles has Jack and Jill access to a family shower room and there is also a family bathroom up here. Relax in your private outdoor space as often as possible. Light the BBQ and cook the fresh produce you have sourced on your trips out, then sit out under the stars on clear evenings.

Head into Ludlow to potter in the independent shops, dine out and see the castle. Follow a section of the Jack Mytton Way, which passes close by and runs for 100 miles through scenic Shropshire.

Excellent property, linens were soft, showers were amazing, and a great bbq. Hosts were lovely and the location is epic with an amazing pub just up the road. Would / will definitely go back.
