Delight in a memorable stay at this inviting retreat in the heart of the verdant West Wales countryside. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, single-storey abode nestles on a charming smallholding, less than 1 mile from the village of Llanarth and 3 miles from New Quay. Complete with a hot tub for soaking in after days out, the holiday home is ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy long coastal walks and afternoons on the beach.

Enter the rural Welsh haven and make yourselves immediately at home. Head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to be wowed by the far-reaching country views. Pull the glass doors open in here on fine days so you can step out on to the balcony. Unpack any fresh, local produce you have bought on your forays over in the kitchen area then rustle up a selection of delicious dishes. Serve up at the table in the centre of the room or out on the balcony, depending on the weather. Afterwards, head through to the second lounge to enjoy an episode or two of your favourite TV show or to read your book. When you are ready to retire for the night, amble through to either the double bedroom or the twin room, both of which boasts an en-suite shower room. Bask in the sunny, lawned garden on fine days. Take a bottle of chilled wine and some glasses out to the balcony on summer evenings.

Spend time on the sand at New Quay or scenic Cei Bach Beach, with its wonderful views out over Bae Ceredigion, also known as Cardigan Bay. From here, take a stroll out along the Ceredigion Coast Path, keeping an eye out for dolphins and porpoises as you walk. Visit the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron Estate, 5 miles away, with its beautiful walled garden.
