Lose yourself in picturesque views of the rolling hills, lush greenery and serene landscapes of the West Wales countryside from almost every window of this charming family-friendly getaway nestled in the sleepy village of Keeston, just a stone’s throw from Pembrokeshire''s spectacular coastline.

Brimming with period charm and homely touches, the open-plan lounge/diner is an oasis of calm to retire to at the end of a busy adventure; soothing neutral hues set the scene for pure relaxation. Reminiscent of a rustic country cottage with wooden cabinets and a gas range, the kitchen provides everything you need to get creative whilst the delightfully light and bright conservatory is the perfect peaceful spot to plan tomorrow’s adventure, inspired by the fantastic countryside views. A utility room offers convenience, and a large family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower attachment completes the downstairs. Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms – one en-suite king-size, two en-suite doubles and a single with an en-suite WC – that all feature sumptuously soft linens and spectacular rural views to wake up to. From sunrise to sunset, the garden is a haven of tranquillity; dine alfresco on the patio, picnic on the lawn or dive into the fabulous outdoor swimming pool.

Nestled amidst the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside, Keeston offers plenty of scenic country lanes to explore on foot or two wheels, a haven for nature lovers who enjoy hiking, walking or simply soaking in the beauty of their surroundings. In the shadow of the historic castle, the bustling market town of Haverfordwest, 5.5 miles away, offers a fantastic selection of shops as well as a farmers’ market held on the riverside every Friday. Those looking to answer the call of the coast can explore the golden sands of Nolton Haven (4 miles), Newgale (5 miles) and Broad Haven (5.5 miles), renowned for their clear waters and opportunities for water sports including surfing and kayaking.

Great location, beautiful view, so peaceful. Everyone enjoyed having a swimming pool. Lots of little extras supplied in the house. Haverfordwest and many beaches were only a short drive away. We had a lovely time.

The house is very spacious with three large comfortable bedrooms ( we did not use the fourth single). Downstairs there is a large living dining room with a 65 inch smart TV. There is a well equipped kitchen. A very pleasant conservatory with fantastic views of the countryside. The location whilst good is in a residential village with no local ameniRead moreties such as a shop, pub or cafe. The cottage is a semi detached house and cannot be called quaint. A major issue is the so called fabulous pool is not heated, at 15C it is colder than the sea. The booking information does not say the pool is heated, so I should have carried out my due diligence better, as if I had realized that pool was not heated I would never have booked at the asking price. Other issues are; very poor information, for example there was no hot water initially, we could not work out how to assess the menu on the DVD player. I would also say that the open plan en suites are not to my taste (I don't like sharing my toilet with other people looking on). Hide
