Immerse yourselves in the beautiful borderlands of both England and Wales when you retreat to this delightful hideaway for two in Shropshire. Situated 9 miles from Ludlow, at the heart of the glorious Shropshire Hills, the one-bedroom cottage is the perfect place for couples, especially if they wish to bring a dog. Offering gorgeous, boutique hotel-style accommodation, with a wealth of original features, the rural conversion encompasses many luxurious touches, including a winter-warming wood burner and an outside seating area for soaking up the sunshine.

Find yourselves amazed by the exquisite interior of this impressive cottage with its vaulted ceilings, flagstone floors and beautiful timber and stonework. Head into the kitchen/diner to rustle up delicious dishes then set the table for candle-lit dinners for two. Run steaming bubble baths in the exquisite slipper bath in the bathroom then unwind here with a glass of wine. This room is partly open to the rest of the property. There is also a separate WC. Make your way on past the bathroom to your lounge/bedroom. Here you can relax on the sofa and gaze out at the views, sliding the door open to bring the countryside inside on fine days or light the wood burner in the autumn and winter. Watch a good film on the Smart TV before settling down in your king-size bed to enjoy the perfect slumber. Gaze out over the fields as you sip your first cup of tea of the day out on the patio on summer mornings. Dine out here under the stars and linger over a bottle of wine on warm evenings.

Spend mornings in Ludlow, browsing in the shops, stocking up on produce and visiting the castle. Head over the border into Wales, about 25 miles away, to follow footpaths through the picturesque countryside here.

You can tell the owners have put a lot of love and effort into making the place feel high standard. No cheap furniture, everything was high quality and it showed and was appreciated. Bed was super comfy and the bedding was lovely. Roll top bath was a joy to relax into. We received a lovely warm welcome and everything felt personalised down to pRead moreroviding us with a personal list of things we might enjoy based on our conversation we had about what we like to do. Received fresh flowers and wine on arrival and thank you for the special touch at the Angel for our celebrations. And a great meal choice too! We stayed 3 nights here, everything felt peaceful and away from it all. And I think they have been really creative with how theyve designed the property. I would recommend to others. Thank you Anya. You made it a lovely stay. Hide
