Look up at the wooded landscape above Langland Bay and you’ll spot this striking apartment building. Park outside, take the lift to the second floor and you’ll find the front door to your high-end holiday home. Step from the large hallway into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area: floor-to-ceiling sliding windows fill the space with light, while contemporary furnishings and finishing touches add a cool coastal vibe. Take a seat in the armchair or stretch out on one of the long sofas and drink in the views of sea, sand and sky; after dark you can chill out courtesy of the Smart TV and games console. A modern dining suite sits between the lounge and sleek kitchen area where you’ll find all the must-haves of home. When it’s time to sleep, choose from three restful bedrooms – two have king-size beds and one has a super-king-size bed which can be made up as a twin on request. The main bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom and balcony doors, and completing the property is a separate shower room. A huge balcony runs the length of the apartment – with furniture for both relaxing and dining; it extends your living space and affords far-reaching views across the bay. You’ll also have access to a shared lawn and two off-road parking spaces.

Langland Bay has beautiful sands backed by a beach hut-lined promenade. Sheltered from onshore winds, it’s a favourite spot for surfing and swimming, with a choice of eateries plus tennis courts and a golf course close by. Join the coastal path here; 2.5 miles east, Bracelet Bay looks out towards the Mumbles Lighthouse. Cosmopolitan Mumbles (1.5 miles) has something for everyone to enjoy, with a Victorian pier and seafront lined with refreshment stops and ice-cream shops. Overlooking the village, Oystermouth Castle is especially stunning. Further east, Swansea (5.5 miles) is the second-largest city in Wales.
