A tranquil, countryside hideaway, this charming Pembrokeshire retreat offers both seclusion and serenity. Sleeping seven guests across three bedrooms, the Welsh cottage is perfect for a large family or even two families on holiday together. With a patio to unwind on during the warmer months and a wood burner for autumn and winter evenings, it makes a great year-round choice. Lace up your walking boots and head out on long, scenic walks right from the doorstep. Plan trips to the beach at Pwllgwaelod, 13 miles away, and Newgale, 15.5 miles from your base. Tenby, 23.5 miles away, also makes a great day out for sea-loving families. Take the children to Oakwood Theme Park, 12.5 miles from the cottage, or Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 16.5 miles away. Scolton Manor, 6 miles away, also has something for all ages, with its Victorian manor house, walled garden, park and adventure playground.

Step inside the white-washed cottage to discover homely accommodation with a warm welcome. Find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, complete with underfloor heating, that will quickly become the heart of the holiday home. Light the wood burner at the lounge end then sink back into the soft seating to watch TV or play games together. Discover the kitchen space has been equipped with everything you will need to cater for yourselves with the local produce you have sourced on your trips out. Gather around the table to enjoy your delicious feasts together. Also downstairs are a useful utility area and family shower room. There is also a snug to which you can retire quietly with your book on occasion, complete with a sofa bed that can be used to accommodate flexible sleeping arrangements. As each day away draws to a close, climb the stairs to the bedrooms on the first floor. These include a double bedroom, a twin, with zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as a super-king-size upon request, and a triple room. With bunk beds and a single, this is just perfect for the children in your party. The family bathroom, with both a double-ended bath and separate shower, is also up here.

Spill out onto the sun-soaked patio on fine days. Enjoy cold drinks and meals out here as you take in the far-reaching views of the rolling countryside. There is private parking here for four cars.
