We were delighted to find this little gem of a cottage in such a rural, picturesque setting. The cottage was very comfortable and extremely well equipped with quality furnishings and decor. Large fluffy bath sheets, a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower, all added to the experience. The long terraced garden with its patio was perfect for Read moresitting out with a cup of tea and enjoying the peace and quiet. The dogs (mini schnauzers) thoroughly enjoyed racing up and down the garden, taking in all the new scents. It was reassuring to know that the whole garden was completely fenced in and dog proof. The cottage felt very removed from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The view from the window, the free ranging chickens and ducks across the road and a fabulous little pub (serving excellent food Wednesday to Sunday) being just a couple of hundred metres up the road. All these made for the perfect break. The fabulous beach and dunes at Talacre are less than three miles away and Prestatyn is only a few miles down the road. Our host Rhian was lovely and on the end of the phone if we needed to speak to her. Do give the cottage a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Hide
