Area Information

This is a modern midlink townhouse in Pennar, a headland within the huge natural harbour of Milford Haven. This was once a bustling fishing and whaling port and then during the Second World War it was used as a base for Allied American troops. The Sunderland flying boats used to take off and land in the bay. The Haven is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world and is the third largest port in the UK.  These days it a modern coastal resort with towns such as Pembroke, Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock which include marinas, quays, plenty of eateries, café bars and shops.

Pembrokeshire has many great beaches: only a short distance from the house, you will find the beautiful Barafundle Beach, an award winning sandy beach. Freshwater West is another great beach. This beach has been used as a film set in many Hollywood blockbusters including Harry Potter and Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe. There is a ferry to Rosslare that runs from Pembroke Dock

The popular towns of Tenby and Pembroke, with its magnificent castle, are worth a visit. There are also many local attractions including Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Adventure, Manor Farm Wildlife Park, the Dinosaur Park and Colby Woodland Garden.
