Description

Set in the landscaped grounds of Bayview Oxwich leisure park, this 2-bedroom holiday chalet lies within easy walking distance of Oxwich Bay. Built in the 1970s and modernised throughout, it is light and airy with an open plan kitchen and lounge diner.

This holiday home is the ideal base for a family or group of 4 looking for a quiet base close to beaches, walks and activities. Inside there are tasteful coastal design details and outside a sunny patio area.

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this idyllic Gower location or head for Oxwich beach where a fun mix of water sports are on offer. This 2 mile stretch of golden sand is flanked by sand dunes and woodland, earning its accolade by The Travel Magazine as 'the most beautiful beach in Britain'.

Oxwich Bay is simply perfect for family holidays as it's dog-friendly all year round and, facing south east, the waters are particularly calm. It's also well served with a car park, a small store, fish and chip shop and tea room. There are toilet's plus a hotel aptly named the Oxwich Bay at one end serving lunches and dinner, and a stylish restaurant 'The Beach House' under the new ownership of some well-respected local restaurateurs.

During high season a water sports club operates from the beach with everything from doughnut rides to windsurfing and sailing - there's even a water taxi for those wishing to venture further. And there are plenty of walks too, across woodland or to other amazing bays including Port Eynon and neighbouring Tor Bay and Three Cliffs.
