Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Pembrokeshire Coast Path

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path was the first National Trail in Wales and is situated largely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It follows the breathtaking coastline from St Dogmael's to Amroth - 186 miles/229 km of rugged cliffs, sheltered coves, beaches and estuaries.

Over its entire length, its ascents and descents are reputed to be the equivalent of climbing Everest! Why not explore sections of this popular trail whilst enjoying a holiday in one of the many Wales Cottage Holidays properties to be found close to the path.

Starting on the path from the east of the county, see these properties close to the path between Tenby and Bosherston:-

Curlew Cottage, a four-bedroomed Georgian cottage at Manorbier sleeping 7 and with lots of character. The Boathouse is a beautiful, contemporary house at Freshwater East sleeping 6 and with spectacular sea views.

For the path around Neyland and Milford Haven:-

Stay at 14 Neptune House, a detached apartment sleeping 4 at Milford Haven marina right on the coast path. We also have Moorhen, a 5* waterfront house sleeping 6.

Over on the coast on St Bride's Bay, Wales Cottage Holidays offers The School House, a traditional cottage by the village hall at Walwyn's Castle sleeping 5, and The Boathouse which, as the name suggests, is a converted boathouse sleeping 4 only 800 yards from the beach. Shippon, sleeping 2, and Vine, sleeping 4, both stand in attractively landscaped grounds and are about a 20 minutes walk to the beach.

Out in the countryside, we have Middle Hall Farmhouse, a detached property near Little Haven sleeping 4 with a lovely big garden, while this charming 200 year old detached cottage in Little Haven, The Leap, is on a wooded hillside and only 800 yards from the beach and village pub.

The following properties are close to the path from Newgale to Solva, east of St David's:-

1 Ty Melyn and 2 Ty Melyn are apartments at Newgale and are only 400 yards from the beach, and 200 yards from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, therefore having fantastic views. 1 Ty Melyn sleeps 2 and is on the first floor of this detached house, while 2 Ty Melyn sleeps 5 and is on the ground floor.

On the north coast, between St David's and Fishguard, Crow's Nest is an apartment sleeping 4, and enjoy views to the sea and use of an indoor heated swimming pool.

The following properties are around the village of Trefin:-

The Bickney sleeps 4 and is a detached character cottage situated on a quiet country lane; Bwthyn-Bach is an C18th cottage sleeping 2 converted from former stables, and is attached to Bwthyn-To-Maen sleeping 4.
