Sugar Loaf Cottage is one of five cosy, south-facing cottages on an arable and fruit farm, 2.5 miles east of the bustling market town of Abergavenny. This is an excellent base for walking and touring, just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, and with an 18 hole golf course half a mile away.

The cottages are fronted by a large lawn with picnic benches and there is a shared games room with a pool table, washing machine and dryer (operated by a £1 slot meter). Some of the electricity on the farm is generated by a small wind turbine. This cottage has a double bedroom, a Shower room with WC, a kitchen/diner with dining table and four chairs, and a comfortably furnished lounge with TV, DVD player and CD player. WiFi available. Heating by new electric radiators. Views of the mountains from the rear of the cottage.

The area is renowned for fine eating and has many interesting places and attractions to visit such as the Norman Castle at Abergavenny which also houses a museum, Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway, Blaenavon Ironworks, Big Pit National Coal Museum, abbeys, the beautifully scenic Usk Valley and the River Wye.
