Located within a couple of miles of the small town of Builth Wells, which offers a choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes, including the locals’ favourite cafe, the timber-windowed Cosy Corner, for some old-fashioned restorative cawl or bara brith. A little further afield, you will find The Griffin at Felin Fach and The Greyhound at Aberedw, both well worth a visit. For walkers, the Wye Valley Walk is right on your doorstep and the Brecon Beacons National Park is just 25 minutes away. Absolutely wonderful house - secluded but not completely out in the sticks. Excellently equipped with everything one needs - ample space. Very comfortable. This is now the second time we have visited - once in the summer where the garden was just perfect to rest and sunbathe, now in the winter where the cosy living room is lovely to retire to after a day full of activities. Really love the little touches - we celebrated a birthday and had happy birthday banners and deco, also welsh cakes and haribos as welcome (including milk in the fridge!). Tea present, sugar there, some coffee capsules for the coffee maker - thanks! Only thing to be improved - sun loungers for outside - even in the winter could wrap up and sit in the sunshine...... Perfect place to spend a wonderful holiday!

Dr S,

“Thank you. The property was truly fantastic. All we could want or need. A special place”

Nicholas G,

This cottage is situated in a rural location adjacent to the river but within easy access to town and it’s amenities. The cottage was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Centrally located for Brecon Beacons and Elan Valley in particular. Would not hesitate to recommend (in fact I’ve already done so!!!!)

Mrs M,

Excellent property situated next to river Wye, decorated to a really high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our river walks and relaxing in comfortable surroundings

Mrs P,

Fabulously stylish. Amazingly comfortable bed and great shower. Lovely kitchen and main room. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Mr U,

The feeling of utter relaxation when stepping out of car. Views and sound of the River Wye awesome.

Mr S,

Rocks Cottage was simply perfect. The quality of finish and furnishing is A*. It's one of the best appointed cottages we've had the privilege to stay in. Added bonus was the electric car charging point.

Mr S,

Rocks Cottage is a luxury cottage set in a very peaceful location beside the river. It is beautifully appointed throughout and is a lovely retreat to return to each day.

Mr C,

We recently stayed at Rocks Cottage and had a wonderful week. The cottage is in a fantastic location next to the River Wye with fly fishing available, a real bonus. The cottage is equipped to a very high standard and living areas are very comfortable. The cottage is so peaceful yet within easy reach of facilities in Builth Wells and near to attractions.

Ms S,

Excellent cottage - perfect location, very quiet, outstanding furnishing - we absolutely loved our little get-away! Everything that is needed was there - even a BBQ! Sunloungers would have been the icing on the cake - but admittedly the weather we had was rather unusual ….. thanks so much we will be back

Dr S,

We loved our stay at Rocks Cottage, the location was beautiful with scenic views all around. Being so close to the river was a bonus as well! The cleanliness of the cottage was spot on, with comfortable beds to enjoy after a long day of cycling/hiking. Definitely recommend a visit.

Mrs A,

Excellent cottage in a beautiful area of Wales. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️
