Cosy in winter, delightful in summer, Llynhillyn retains many original features, including a fairly steep wooden staircase, beamed ceilings, slate flagged floor and lovely stone inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove (logs supplied). The cottage is furnished in traditional style, with some lovely old pieces of furniture. There is oil-fired central heating throughout.

Sitting Room: with original slate flagged floor, beamed ceiling, wood burning stove in the stone inglenook, two sofas, three armchairs, small flatscreen TV and DVD player, digital radio, high-backed wooden chair, small desk. The original dark oak staircase, narrow and quite steep, rises from the sitting room.

Reviews

It was a delightful stay, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were very pleased that Maria showed us how to override the heating (helpful in the snow!). Lovely surprise to have a bottle of wine waiting for us. Very homely, comfortable place and great to explore from.
