From Midday to Midnight the drinking establishments of Welshpool are alive with music. Solo artists and bands from genres ranging from folk to rock to rhythm & blues will be performing for your entertainment. So for 12 hours of back-to-back live music with a convivial atmosphere the Welshpool Music Festival is a fantastic day out for all song lovers!

Known as the ‘town of books’ and situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Hay-on-Wye has held a literary festival for the past 28 years. With a range of poets and writers attending and sharing their stories, the event is not to be missed by anyone who loves reading. As well as authors, the festival also attracts talks from filmmakers, comedians, musicians and even politicians! Hay festival is a great event for book lovers, but also for families due to a wide range of entertainment for the children.
