Welshpool Country Music Festival

This popular event goes from strength to strength and is a real must for all country music devotees. There is already a great confirmed line up for this year including Black Steel, The Chris Dunn Band and the Hayden Allen Trio and with a 7,500 square foot marquee you don't have to worry about the weather. A Western bar will be open from the Friday night and there will be plenty of food stalls on site so sit back and immerse yourself in a world of Country!
Royal Welsh Show

The popular Royal Welsh Show offers a range of activities including forestry, crafts, a sports village and agriculture. In 2015, the Royal Welsh Show had it’s best ever attendance at just over 242,000 people therefore claiming to be the largest event of its kind in Europe. The show includes trade stands, food and drink stalls, and competitions for a range of livestock in a number of categories.
Green Man Festival

The Green Man Festival started in 2003 and has now become the largest contemporary music and arts festival in Wales. The independent festival offers mainly live music of all genres, literature, film, comedy and poetry and is the only festival in the UK to be licensed for 24 hour entertainment. The festival is split up over a number of different areas, each with its own type of entertainment in order to cater for the majority of people. Children of all ages are welcome, with activities for all age ranges.
Landrindod Wells Victorian Festival

From a one-man performance of Great Expectations by the author's great, great grandson, to entering the world of Victorian detectives and a grand ball the Victorian age comes to life again in Llandrindod Wells!
World Bog Snorkelling Championships
★ TBC August 2017 ★ ★ Waen Rhydd bog, outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells LD5 4SP ★
This year the ever-popular championships reaches it's 31st anniversary and hundreds of competitors from around the world will be heading to Britain's smallest town to test their skills. A great day out for all the family with shuttle buses running from the centre of town to the heart of the action and there will be live music, food, drink and craft stalls, bouncy castle and a real ale and cider bar.
