Festivals are the flavour of the month this June in Mid Wales. From books to classical music and classic planes - there is something for everyone!


Hay Festival

The Hay Festival, now in it's 28th year, attracts book lovers in their thousands. Famous faces can easily be spotted in the throngs that descend on this town full of book and antique shops. A great event for all the family as there is plenty of entertainment laid on for children and those young at heart. People return year after year and it really is a great experience!

Gregynog Festival

★ Friday 16 to Sunday 2 July 2017 ★ ★ Gregynog Hall, Tregynon, Newtown SY16 3PW ★

Set in the stunning and tranquil countryside of Mid-Wales, Gregynog Hall has become known for the spectacular Gregynog Festival held there since it was founded in 1933. Musicians come from all over the world to take part in the oldest classical festival in Wales.

Bob Jones Memorial Air Show & Festival of Transport

★ Sunday 11 June 2017 ★ ★ Welshpool Airport SY21 8RS ★

This air show goes from strength to strength and even though the exciting line up has yet to be announced it is bound to be a good one. Thousands of people regularly attend the event so make sure you get there in good time or you will be enjoying the displays through your sunroof!
