Annual Steam Gala, Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway

The Gala for all lovers of steam and railways with every operating engine out on the rails over the three days. There will also be traction engines, steam cars and a shuttle bus is available for a trip up to the associated Llanfair Garden Railway Show. Llanwddyn Weekend of Folk & Acoustic Music

Now it it's 5th year, this growing festival has already attracted a great range of acts to sign up for 2017 including The Willows and Twmpathology. Opening on the Friday night with a Ceilidh & supper, the music really get's into it's swing on the Saturday with never a quiet moment. There will also be plenty of craft stalls for you to browse if your favourite band aren't playing and food providers to keep you sustained throughout the day!
International Antiques & Collectors Fair of Wales

This second helping of the year of this popular fair sees thousands of stands from antique dealers from throughout Europe. The two huge exhibitions halls, plus 8 more buildings and outside marquees are chock-a-block with a fantastic range of antiques to suit everyone's taste and budget.
Abergavenny Food Festival

Established way back last century (well 1999 to be precise!) the Abergavenny Food Festival is one of the biggest in the country with over 200 exhibitors coming from all over the country to display their wares and well-known chefs and experts taking part in demonstrations to show you how to make the best of the wonderfully fresh produce. Join the 30,000 visitors for the third weekend in September making their way to this scenic market town to have a great time!
Welshpool 1940s Weekend

Get into the blitz spirit when Welshpool town centre is taken back in time to the 1940s. Plenty will be going on over the three days with ticketed events including a Big Band Dance. Vintage goods and crafts will be for sale on the Saturday and if you want to fully immerse yourself head to Ashman's Antiques in the town to buy some authentic clothing from the period.
