A delightful, detached 17th Century stone character cottage, rurally located (with the sound of the nearby mill stream) down a narrow lane with some other properties, just outside the village of Llanigon. Two miles south west of Hay-on-Wye within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Old Mill has a lovely and traditional kitchen/dining room with beamed ceiling, tiled floor, four oven Aga, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and pine dining table with six chairs. The beamed sitting room has a woodburner in the stone fireplace (logs can be purchased locally), Sky TV and DVD player. Ground floor WC. Upstairs, the cottage has a cosy Victorian bathroom with a free standing bath, separate power shower, and WC. Also upstairs are the 3 bedrooms - one with a king size, a second king size room with feature fireplace and beautiful stone wall, and a third bedroom with a single and a large folding bed. WiFi available. Landline phone for incoming calls.

Large enclosed garden at the front with lawn and garden furniture. Rear garden leads onto the lane. Excellent inns in the area and close to the 'town of books'. Superb walking in the Black Mountains from the door with plenty of abundant wildlife, local pony trekking, canoeing and cycling. Within easy driving distance of historic Llanthony Abbey, Tintern Abbey and Raglan Castle. Castle in the centre of Hay-on-Wye has now become a centre for arts, crafts and education.

Please note: Sleeps 5 + folding bed

Electricity and central heating included.

Bed linen provided; towels available @ £6 per person per week.

No smokers please.
