Enjoying a beautiful secluded spot surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacons, this bright and cheerful wooden glamping pod is a delightful retreat for couples looking for a tranquil getaway at the heart of the Welsh countryside. With a private outdoor hot tub, the pod sits in an idyllic spot at the end of a quiet no-through lane on the owner’s sheep farm. Offering sweet, relaxing and cosy holiday accommodation for two guests keen to discover the region’s spellbinding countryside, this is a great base for visiting the Usk Reservoir, attempting an ascent of Black Mountain or gazing into the Dark Skies at night.

Three steps lead up onto the decked balcony at the front of the pod. Inside there’s a bright, cheerful and cosy lounge/kitchenette/diner. The lounge area features a TV, dining area and comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed if required – to be arranged when booking. There’s also a usefully equipped kitchenette area with ninja air fryer . When it’s time to retire, the pod offers a delightful double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside, the raised decked area has a private hot tub, croquet set, BBQ and a picnic table, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the surrounding rural views.

Situated in a tranquil spot along the north-western edge of the Brecon Beacons, the pod is ideal for walkers, cyclists, hikers and climbers exploring this spellbinding area. The beautiful Usk Reservoir is 5 miles east, with Llyn y Fan Fach and Llyn y Fan Fawr both to the south (within 5 miles). For more experienced climbers, Black Mountain is also to the south (7 miles). Nature lovers can call in at the Red Kite Feeding Station (1.5 miles). Other local attractions include the National Showcaves for Wales, Tair Carn Uchaf and Herbert’s Quarry, all within 15 miles.
