Self-catering accommodation in Llandrindod Wells

Known locally simply as ‘Llandod’, Llandrindod Wells is a county town and a stay in one of our Llandrindod Wells cottages is perfect for a holiday in Powys. It was developed as a spa town in the 19th century, with the construction of new streets, hotels, shops, and houses. It’s still attractive to tourists today, with plenty to see and do in the town as well as being a great base for Mid Wales holidays. The Art Deco-style former garage which was called the Automobile Palace now houses the National Cycle Collection which includes some of the bicycles originally displayed in the garage. Llandrindod has a station on the delightful scenic Heart of Wales railway line and the station features a restored signal box. The town has international standard outdoor bowling greens which host national and international events and a newer indoor bowling centre. Overlooking the town is an 18-hole golf course that was established in 1905 and designed by six-time open champion Harry Vardon; the club welcomes visiting golfers.

With so much to see and do, Llandrindod Wells is a great holiday destination, and we have a wide range of Llandrindod Wells cottages which make the perfect base for exploration. Choose from cosy cottages for couples, family-friendly accommodation, or holiday cottages for group getaways – with lots of dog-friendly accommodation too!
