Ysgubor Helyg is a recent, quirky conversion of a traditional stone barn, semi-detached to the owners’ farmhouse on a quiet rural no-through lane in the hills between Llanfair Caereinion (6.5 miles) and Carno (8 miles), 10 miles north of Caersws. This is a peaceful location for those wishing to walk and drive the beautiful Mid Wales countryside.

The cottage benefits from oil-fired central heating (combi-boiler), with water from a private spring (tested and passed as safe for drinking); WiFi is also available in some rooms

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Lambs in the field behind us, and chickens in the garden. It's ideal for a walking holiday, very quiet and peaceful

Ms A,

Lovely cottage, very clean and tidy in a peaceful part of central Wales. Contains all the kitchen equipment and linen you need for a relaxing stay. Rob always at the end of the phone for queries. We absolutely loved it and would not hesitate in staying again. Just be aware there is no phone signal and wi fi is patchy but you are on holiday to get away from it all that ! So just sit back, relax and enjoy what the cottage has to offer ... you won't be disappointed!

mrs H,
