Berthllwyd is a beautifully refurbished traditional farm cottage adjoining the owners’ home (which is at the rear) near Llanidloes with 600m of private fishing on the banks of the River Severn. This is a lovely rural location, with plenty of playing space (fenced) and a secluded riverside garden with barbecue where you can sit and watch the wildlife. There is a cyclepath/walkway link to the attractive town, 0.75 mile away, and further walks in the area; bikes are available from the owner. The cottage is maintained to a very high standard and retains attractive period features.

This is an ideal location for lovers of the countryside and outdoor activities, with birdwatching, golf, Llyn Clywedog for fishing and sailing, nature trails, mountain biking in Hafren Forest and Glyndwr's Way nearby. Storage available for bikes and fishing tackle. Visit the stunning Elan Valley and the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader. The coast at Aberystwyth, the sandy beach at Ynyslas and Powys Castle at Welshpool are about 40 minutes' drive away. The beautiful small towns of Aberdyfi, Aberaeron and Hay-on-Wye are about an hour's drive.
